Photography and Videography

It is a fortunate circumstance when you are able to hold on to a childhood passion and incorporate it into your entire life.  Photography still is a crucial tool for a digital artist.  You may think it is in over-abundance today. That it has become a nullified art form.  Whether it gives voice to revolutions, brings together lost souls, or provides a stage to someone who otherwise would not have had the chance; photography really has empowered us once again.

It takes someone with an understanding of visual literacy to find iconic moments.  Capturing the mise en scène of the time requires a seasoned eye.  Clothing, hair, architecture, activity, the light, the dark, or the look of an eye hold their clues.   The subtle qualities of a photograph provide for interpretation and set the emotion.  Photography is an historic encapsulation of who we are and it will hold its magic no matter what form it may take.

Social media venues are enhanced by photography.  What is a tweet without it's accompanying visual.
